Go BackGroup Activity Weekend
Alongside 13th Fife Scout Group, sixteen members of Woodside Explorer Scout Unit spent a weekend at PGL Dalguise in March.

The accommodation was excellent and with catering and programming taken care of by the centre, all that was required was to make sure that everybody enjoyed themselves.

The activities that were on offer included rifle shooting, climbing, abseiling, giant swing, cat walk, vertical challenge, problem solving and fencing.

The Explorer Scouts got stuck into all of the activities, worked as a team and had a great time.

It was a great opportunity to spend a weekend with the other sections of the Scout Group be that the Beaver Scouts who visited for the day or the Cubs and Scouts who stayed for the weekend. It has certainly fostered good relations between the sections and hopefully ensures that members will feel comfortable to move to the next section as they reach the moving on age.
